Guest speaker met with students

On July 25, 2019 Juba Maruashvili, Senior Expert of Grant Management and Policy Advisor at the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Georgia, met with the students of the vocational education program “Occupational Safety and Environmental Protection”.

The invited guest gave a presentation on "The Role of International Organizations in the Democratic Development of Georgia". Students had an opportunity to ask questions and receive comprehensive answers.

At the meeting, special attention was paid to the process of harmonization with the EU standards in the framework of the DCFTA agreement. Juba Maruashvili also spoke about the role of the International Labor Organization in the implementation of occupational safety standards in Georgia.
